Give 5 qualities that you see that are inspiring about your partner that they might not realize about themselves.
1. Mental strength. 2. Ability to easily keep poetic and personal business separate. 3. Ability to find the bright/humorous side to almost every situation. 4. Ability to get “in character” quickly. 5. Encouraging words/ways.
Would you work with each other for another book & why?
Yes, because we work well together.

I don’t have one specific style that I use. If I had to give it a title, I would simply call it Rhythmic Rambling

My first collab came about due to a challenge issued in a poetry group on FB. No, it didn’t make a difference.
How do you think being a woman has helped or hurt your efforts in the poetry field?
Being a woman gives me a certain insight that shines through in my work; that can only help.
What is something people will be surprised to know about you & your partner with your up & coming book?
The majority of our pieces were written via inbox before we ever met face to face.
What writers inspire you to write & why?
I can’t really say that certain writers inspire me as I don’t get to read for pleasure that much.
What advice would you give to a classroom full of kids learning about poetry for the first time?
Have fun and let the words flow
Do you think making poetry mainstream takes away from the craft? Why?
No. Poetry should never be put in a box and to say that you’ re “making poetry mainstream” is to imply that it wasn’t before.
If you could go on a cross country tour showcasing your work to people where would you go & why?
Every state in the union, because everybody can use a little poetry in their lives.
What motivates you to write?
What’s one question you wish people would ask you & one you wished they stop asking?
There’s no question I wished they’d ask, but I wish they’d stop asking me whether or not my collab partner and I collab off the page as well or as much as we do on.
